Poetry for the Spirit

Join us for an afternoon of shared poetry and reflection. Each participant is asked to bring a poem to share, either a favorite published poem or one that you yourself have written. There are no restrictions on subject, but we hope that many will choose to share a poem centered on spirit, faith, inner life – a poem that might speak to us in this moment of worldwide crisis.

Please be prepared to read the poem aloud, while sharing your screen with a printed version of the poem so we can follow along. Then the facilitator will invite reflections on the poem’s meaning and emotion for all of us.

Please register at Eventbrite here…

Details: A link invitation will be emailed to registered participants before the event.

Leader: John Morris has taught workshops at the Writer's Center in Bethesda, MD, for many years. He has published two collections of poetry, and his work has appeared in numerous journals. He is a member of Seekers Church.
