Salon on "Breaking" Theme

Join us for a virtual salon on our next Readers Respond theme of "Breaking." What traditions do you have around breaking bread? How have you broken a fast? What experiences have you had with heartbreak? How can we respond to the brokenness in the world around us?

We'll start with a short guided meditation, then discuss our theme and have some quiet writing time. After that, there will be a chance to chat and share your writing if you're interested. Whether you're simply looking for some time for reflection, a chance to connect with others, or an opportunity to work on a response to submit to our next journal issue, we'd love to have you join us at this low-key gathering! No experience or preparation is necessary. Just bring yourself and your preferred writing tools.

We are considering two different time slots for this event: Tuesday, February 27th at 7-8pm ET or Saturday, March 2nd at 11am-12pm ET. If you are interested, please let us know what time works for you using this form. We will only hold the event if there is sufficient interest, so sign up soon (and tell your friends!)
